They did the same with the MAC's few decades ago by providing proprietary hardware and software and you could not upgrade or update in any way. They lost a lot of market share gradually to PC's which where more flexible and easier to upgrade.<br><br>I am hoping Apple will realise this at some point and will open up the market otherwise they will gradually loose all competitive advantages they had because people will go to the most flexible services.
