		<description>I think it made such a difference that they released a trial of the new facebook before actually springing it on everyone (the way they did with the newsfeed).  It not only gave people and opportunity to explore the new layout but more importantly it diffused the negative and shrill reactions. For example, instead of a complete uproar of the whole community the day they released the new features, reactions were spread out over the few weeks the trial was in place.

I personally love the new facebook.  I don&#039;t have to look at anyone&#039;s application boxes any more!</description>
